2016 Georgetown and Thanksgiving

Good Day,
I need everyone's thoughts. We have a brand new 2016 Georgetown 364TS as of June 2016. We're thinking of taking a trip in it at Thanksgiving to just outside of Durango CO. Their temperatures can drop. Are the heating pads enough. Any thoughts or recommendations? Thanks everyone, this Forum is the BEST.

We are full timers in a 2005 Georgetown. Have gone through temps of 10 below 0 with no problems. Heating pads have done a great job!

We have been into the 20's with our 364 with no problems. With the Artic Pac on and the furnaces running I wouldn't have any worries.

You need a HEATED HOSE to prevent intake freezing. NOTHING CAN HELP YOU IF THE WATER IS SOLID ICE BEFORE IT REACHES THE UNIT.

You should not have a problem. When you use the furnace heated air is blown into the lower portion of the rv to protest the plumbing and the arctic pac will keep your water tank thawed. I agree that a heated water hose is a good idea, and I tape insulation around the water drain hoses under the rv as a precaution since they hang out in the weather.

Forget the hose and use your FW tank and refill as necessary. No worries that way.

Thank you and you're great. Couple more questions. What about the water heaters. You keep those on electric mode or gas and are you running the generator the entire time until you plug-in. Also when you're going down the road are the pads always on and the furnace on? This is our first winter experience and it's a whole learning curve again. Thank you for your wisdom.

Pads ON (pads are 12 V) all the time it is close to freezing. Water heater Is either off or on gas while traveling back on electric while camping.
Heater, hum, on set to 50 while driving in cold weather, set to 60 while camping and use the electric fireplace for most heat. Adjust as necessary. Should not need generator, but watch your battery voltage.

You might want to check the furnace airflow in the front bath. Apparently there was a design flaw early on and several folks have complained about the front bath in the 364 being too cold and not much airflow. Someone posted a great mod of adding in a 4" blower into the duct line to solve the issue. I haven't done that one yet, but it is definitely on my list.

I think a lot of the airflow in that bath can be had by shortening the length of duct under the shower. I have not had a problem with heat in our bath though.

Well we have a handicapped son who spends his time in the upper bunk.. The flow thru the center bathroom and hall were non existent and we do a lot of late camping in the 30-35 temp range and so we fixed the problem after the dealer told us to just run the thermostat at 95.. Just put your hand down on the vent and see if you feel anything with temp set at 67
