2017 GT 31L5 - Shakedown cruise

Took our shiny new 1 week old GT 31L5 for a shakedown this past weekend and had some issues:
Dinette bed mystery - could not figure out how to fit all the cushions into place as it appears that the big cushion that came with the GT to augment the existing seat cushions is several inches too wide??? Photos below show the problem using variously the seat back and seat cushions, along with length/width pics.
Inferior cabin screen door - the screen door plastic sliding piece cracked and the handle is showing signs of severe wear already.
Cabin door is way too heavy - slams open and sometimes whacks the awning arm. Has anyone got a source for a dynamically dampered gas strut? I see some on the internet but can't justify ordering 100's from China!

A few other issues were noted but yet to be fully vetted.
