2018 Georgetown GT5

My wife and I recently purchased the 2018 Georgetown GT5. This is the third Forest River we have owned so far and have no real complaints. Now on to my questions. Any input and/or suggestions would be appreciated.

(1) Unit is ready for washer/dryer. Purchased the Splendide WD2100XC White Vented Combo Washer/Dryer. When I went to install the unit, I discovered the hot and cold water pipes come up through the bottom cabinet, which reduces the actual footprint of the space for the washer/dryer. If these pipes had been installed in the corner next to the drain pipe, I wouldn't have any issues with getting this unit in the space. What are other people using as a washer/dryer? I can provide a picture if this doesn't make any sense.

(2) The rear dump is enclosed in a cabinet with a round access port. Unfortunately, the access port is almost direct under the fitting for the waste drain, preventing me from easily connecting my drain pipe. Is this just a bad design? How have other gotten around this challenge?

On my 378... The water hose and the drain are tight against the wall. Be sure to securely fasten w/d within the cabinet or it will try to escape during dry cycle!Click image for larger version

I have 364TS 2017 and the Splendide works great but was installed before I bought it new. But we have had no problems and yes be sure it is secured or it will shake rattle and roll . Have fun mine is similar but you have a few more upgrades like bath sinks and countertops and maybe LED lights.. we have 16,000 plus in about 9 months and love it! Especially the two full baths.
