329DS or is it 329DSF

OK can someone tell me what the "F" designates? We are seriously looking at this model. Seems as the looking online yields no clues.

I could be completely wrong but the new 14's have the F. We have the 2013 329 DS and not sure there was a DSF option.

I have a 2014 329DS. Not sure what the "F" designates. Thought it could stand for Full Body Paint but all of the advertised "DSFs" I've looked at are exactly like mine (no full body paint). I've seen a lot of 2013's advertised as "F" models also.

It could mean it's mounted on a Ford Chassis.

There is no significance in the "F" designation. Some dealers will use the DSF in the model and others won't. I spoke with a dealer who had both on the lot and asked him what the difference was, and was emphatic that there was no difference, but that Forest River at some point decided to add the "F".

43018 I disagree. I just confirmed with Ron Ross at Coachmen that the 'F' stands for Ford chassis, vs a Chevy chassis.

It stands for Ford chassis per Ron Ross at Coachmen

Mine is DS. Does it mean that I have a Chevy chassis with Ford engine?

Nope. Dual slides no chassis nor engine.

That's why I asked because it doesn't make sense to have a Ford engine on a Chevy chassis.

So, does that mean that the "F" is still a mystery? Mine doesn't have the pull down bunk beds, could that be it? F for full down bunk beds? LOL

The F stands for Ford chassis, per my earlier statement from Coachmen.
Usually Ford chassis comes with Ford engine.

What emblem is on front, a bow tie or blue oval?
