335DS

The wife and finally got to sit in, look over and "touch" a 335DS yesterday. On this model I could not see how, or if it is possible to swing the living room TV outward for better viewing from the drivers / passenger seat area. Is there a release behind it ? Does it swing outward ?

Our sales person had no idea, poor young girl had been with company about a month. I gave her this forum info and suggested she read up!

On my 335 the tv was screwed onto the wall, no swing arm. You would have to add one yourself, just have to get the kind that has a lock on it so it doesn't swing out while driving.

well, have watched a lot of TV in our 335, from the couch and from the dinette, maybe a little from the front seats, but very little. Never thought of the need to swing out the TV as the angle on the wall seems to make the set pretty visible from most of those locations. Other are right, it is screwed to the wall. You could get a swing arm for it if you wanted to.

Thank you!

How do you attach HDMI cables, and or connections for a satellite, etc ? How do you access the rear of the television ?

Have to take it off the wall. The 335 really isn't set up to easily set up for HD TV. Good luck running HDMI cables to your TV. Think most folks are going wireless. We just bring CD's!!

Sure the 335 is set up for HDMI, the question is what are you going to use it for. You can put streaming players on the main TV, but it is hooked up to the cable distribution box in the overhead as well as to the DVD player in the dash radio. There is a park cable entry in the rear power bay and a pre-wired satellite cable in the overhead as well. Mine 2015 has a lousy omni roof antenna which most have replaced with a Jack antenna. It is hooked to all TVS and selectable with the box in the overhead. There is a wall connection for the AV inputs in the bedroom.

Now...what do you want? You can distribute HD to all TVs using RF, it does lack an HDMI distribution system, but so do most other RVs and homes.

Thanks folks, I was just trying to picture how one would attach cables. Our FR TT we just sold had the TV bracket / swivel for quick release and access to rear making it simple.

Reading the pre wiring for the satellite ends in the cabinet above the front passenger seat, and not pre wired to the TV is also disappointing to me !

We do like the unit just weighing all our options !
