350 Georgetown power awning

Happy with the coach so far. Had to take it back to dealer for some items. One item that bugs me is: the power awning when it starts to extend has a bumo in it. Took it back to dealer a couple of times. They said, "They made adjustments , but georgetown awnings have a bump in it when they unravel." Awning opens and closes but has that bumo in it at start.
Does anyone else have an awning with same problem.

Typo error: It should read bump, lol or I mean, a slight jump when it first starts to open.

Mine jumps out when first unrolling as well.
The shock pushes it out.

From www.urbandictionary.com

1. Bumo
Alleged genetic mix between mole and fitchet. It is generally connected with north dutchfolk feasts and exuberant alcohol consumption. Bumo's are very shy and are seldom observed.
Oh dear, it must have been done by a bumo! (awsome expression)

Google what did we do without it....

Another question, does anyone open and close their slides (under the awning) while the awning is out? I noticed the slide topper has that end piece that sticks up and rotates against the awning when moving the slide in/out while the awning is out. Will that wear and tear the awning?

Just my way but I always level, slides awning after shore power. The awning will actually clear the slide on the way out and it drops down its pretty soft landing. I wouldn't put out awning and then have the slide force it way underneath. Here's a pic with slideout and screenroom attached to awning.
