364 hitch receiver height

We are driving out to pick up our new 364 next month and want to make sure we'll be able to hook up our toad when we get there. Got a Roadmaster baseplate installed on our Ford C-Max and got a Roadmaster Sterling tow bar. The paperwork stresses that the tow bar shouldn't be more than 3" out of level, so with that in mind, I was wondering if someone could take a minute and measure the height to the center of their hitch receiver on their 364. That way I'll know if we need to buy a drop hitch and how long it needs to be.

Keep in mind 5000lbs is 5000lbs and save some money. And what I did was replace the pins with grade 8 bolts and nylok nuts.

If I recall, it's 22" to center. I use a 10" drop for my tow dolly and utility trailer when towing golf cart and hook straight up for my jeep. Jeep is lifted and I custom mounted to my aftermarket bumper. Jeep is still about 2" high, but rides good. I would go outside and measure for you but the jacks are down.

I Bought the maxxtow also and haves used it once at 10" drop for my utility and golf cart.

Yeah I was hoping to just get a non-adjustable one at the correct height since I only have my 1 vehicle that I'll ever be towing, but that one is cheap enough that I may just get it.

Actually, just noticed that both of the adjustable hitches linked here are for ball mount, but I'll need a 2" receiver for the Roadmaster Sterling. Are there adjustable ones like that? Roadmaster makes some that are fixed height but haven't seen adjustable yet. I'd still kind of prefer the fixed height version if I knew what height to get.

Towing a 2015 ford explorer using a 2 in drop receiver and its within a one inch of being level. Motorhome is a 2015 377xl so both rigs are on the 24000 frames so a 2 in drop should work for you. Good Luck with your new rig.

364s are on a 22k frame. XLs are on 24K.

Additionally, my toad (Ford C-Max) is a small car. I doubt that the height to its tow bar mount points is going to match your ford explorer.

I've got a 2015 GT 364 with 19.5" tires and 22K GVWR. It's 22" to the center of the hitch. I use a Blue Ox bar with a 4" drop to tow my Jeep Liberty. (Like some others, I would avoid adjustable hitches...too many moving parts!)

Just a reminder from experience - make sure you account for some drop when the coach is loaded down.

I had my tow bar and toad all set and level on an empty coach and then when I loaded up and went to hook up and drive off it had dropped 2 inches.

Still within workable range for my setup but watch out for this!
