364 Kitchen TV Mount Mfg

Hi all,

Does anyone know the manufacturer of the tv mount over the sink in the kitchen of the 364 (and maybe other models)?

Alternatively does anyone know where to buy that style of mount elsewhere?

Thanks!

Yes, I've seen your mid I think - great work on that.

I was hoping to make it easier on myself and buy a unit like we have in the kitchen, but if not I'll check out your mod.

Thanks

It's really fairly easy to do. Mark the inside of the trim for the door panel and then knock it out and cut to inside of line. Cut a little mor on hinge side and attach piano hinge. Cut some 1x2 as supports for bottoms and sides, then line with 1/2" plywood. Add shelves. The best part of this is, unless you know it, it doesn't look like a cabinet!

I really don't think the TV cabinet bracket would fit in the bedroom. While I think the TV's are the same size, that Bracket has a much taller total height than just the TV, and there just isn't the space in the Bedroom area. Use the existing wall panel, cut down to fit door opening, and get a piano hinge, and a clasp of your liking. Like Aquaman said, it's a fairly easy project, I did mine in one day. I didn't put the extra shelf inside because I use it mostly for some binders, where I keep all my camping logs, places we've been, places to go, pics of mod.s and other projects, etc... along with a small printed and my tablet bag (when I have work to do), okay, I always have work to do, when I plan on trying to get some done while on a trip or weekend getaway...

I know I posted pics under the mods to my 364TS tread I started a while back. I'll take some pics of the hinkle and other hardware I ended up using.

We didn't use a piano hinge (used to cabinet hinges instead) but it's the same idea -

Here's pics of my hinge and latch for the bedroom cabinet door. I used a piano hinge figuring it would hold and distribute the weight of the TV better than regular cabinet hinges. I couldn't find the exact fit so bought the next larger size and trimmed it down with a hack saw to custom fit. If you do this just make sure to put the cut end down so you don't have issues with the pin working its way loose.
