364 TS 15 or 16

We are seriously looking at a 364 TS. The dealer has both a 15 and 16. They said there is no difference between the two. Even quoted same price. LOL! I'm driving out there tomorrow to take a test drive.

Thoughts, suggestions are appreciated and welcomed!

Love my 364TS. I bought what I thought was a 15 but when I got it home my insurance company said the VIN was for a 16. Sure enough the title was issued for a 2016. Love mine, great space, love the two full baths, plenty of sleeping space for 6 adults and a teenager ( I have the tv over the cab).not a lot of storage space in the kitchen but tons of storage space in the master bedroom. Good luck with your decision.

Now our 2016 will come off the line in the middle of October and the biggest difference will be the new 6 speed transmission.. Can hardly wait to try it in our new 364

I would recommend getting the 16 for the same price. If nothing more than years from now, it will probably have a slightly higher trade in price than the 15. Also, the upgraded transmission in the later model 16s would be more desirable.

In late April, we went to compare the 15 364TS and the 15 Thor Challenger 37TB. When we got there, they had just sold the 15 but had a 16 that had just come in. Same price, etc. I only wish that they had put the 6 speed auto tranny in at that time.

The 364 provides a lot of bang for the buck. I honestly cannot think of a different floorplan/motorhome that I would prefer over this....other than a diesel without having to pay a diesel price!!

You may also find the 2016 has 22.5" tires vs. the 19.5, which my 2015 came with. Or, both may have the 22.5" size since FR made the switched somewhere mid-year on the 2015 line.

Thanks for the input. I enjoyed my inspection trip, but sadly the coach won't fit our needs. Some of the spaces are tight. However if anyone is interested in a 364TS call Lindssy at Wilkins. She has a '16 in Rochester but I looked at the '15 in Bath. Nice coach but our needs require a different floor plan. They had a SMOKING price on the '15.

The 2016 Chassis have the new Ford 6 speed transmission instead of the 5 speed in 2015. No big deal but if you can get a 2015 at a smoking price get the 2015.

The mfg. dates can be a bit confusing. I was told when I bought my 2016 Georgetown it comes with a 2015 chassis. In order to get a 2016 chassis we would have to wait until late 2016 or early 2017. From what I understood Is FR pre orders the chassis and sits on them for a while before the build. Then when the build begins it takes several months to complete. That's the reason the chassis mfg. Date is so far off from the actual coach mfg. date
