364 Water pump system issues

We are getting ready to hit the road for our big trip and found out that the water pump that is run by the hall switch pumps fine but will not cycle off after building up pressure.. The pump that is run by the back bathroom switch is fine and cycles like it should.. Does anyone know why one pump is acting up??

Found the problem.. There was no air in the system but I drained the tanks and for some reason the one hot water tank was not totally full.. Ran the front kitchen sink and it was doing fine on the pump but the flow of water slowed way down and then went back to normal flow and water pump sounded better so I turned off the faucet and the pump shut off right after..
