364TS Height
Not sure if anyone has ever encountered a height problem with their 364TS (or other Georgetown for that matter) when it comes to shorter tunnels and bridges.
We want to travel from Delaware to North Carolina OBX. The Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel has a height of 13' 6". Forest River has a listed height of 12' 1" for the 364TS. When I measured it to the highest point (the radio antenna) I get 13' 9".
Has anyone attempted this scenario? If so, what were the results?

The antenna should be on a spring and therefore doesn't count for the actual height, there should also be a screw near the base so that you can lower the antenna.

If you have the 22.5" tires, you may be at 12'10" (not counting antenna).

Our 364TS has 22.5 tires and the specification says the rig is 12'-2".

Interesting, I don't think I looked at any unit with 22.5" wheels that was under 12'8" and most were 12'10". Maybe for Georgetown I'm just remembering the XL line ?
That height issue was / is important to me due to under roof parking I have measuring 12'8".

I didn't think they let RV's or trailers in the tunnel. Has that changed?

13'6" is standard clearance height for trucks, RVs, etc. Unless you've added an after market roof item (satellite) that is higher than the A/C, you should be fine.

Trempert is right, 13'6" is a safe bet. If you ever get a GPS get an rv specific device like Good Sam Rand Mcnalley and you can enter the height in the gps and it will steer you clear of low tunnel and bridge clearances.

My GS GPS has steered us around several low bridges, but I have often questioned why as it was often sending me on some confusing routes....

Agreed...I have a Garmin and it regularly sends us in circles. It will definitely get you to your destination but sometimes around blocks and again other blocks when going straight would have been fine.
Yes I have put in all the correct information and have changed the settings from shortest and fastest settings. However still it runs us around and just makes the trip a little longer in distance and time.

Lol! We think that our GPS gets pissed off at us when we don't follow her instructions. Then she sends us into a 55+ community with a cul-de-sac with our 38 footer and toad....😀
