374 A/C question

Hello all, I'm looking at up grading to a Georgetown 2009, model 374 motorhome. It's 38 feet long and one thing I noticed is that there is only (1) air conditioner, which is ducted through out the ceiling. My buddy has a 350, 35 foot and has (2) ducted ceiling units. What gives? Is one a/c enough or will this be a problem?

Thanks

I have 2 AC on my 335. Spent all last winter in AZ where temps were generally in the 80's. I never used both AC's. Usually used the bedroom AC to keep noise down in living room. If it was any warmer, not sure I could have gotten away with one AC. I once owned a 5er that had only one AC. Couldn't keep the coach comfortable on hot days. I hate running roof AC's because they are so noisy, but sometimes a necessity!

It's pretty much standard to have 2 A/C's when the length = or + 30'. At 38', I would insist on 2 A/C units. I would be suspicious that someone has removed one for some strange reason.

I have 280DS which exactly 29' 7" though does not come as an XL, it is fully loaded with an AC unit for the bedroom and one for the living room.
