In my user manual for the RM1350, page 11 "...the adjustable thermostat ranges from 1-5 (5=coldest temperature setting)..."

But I will try your suggestion.

Thank you!

Question. Did you check the pressure on booth sides of the valve? My unit came with the valve closed.

Good morning and thanks for responding..the valve was closed and after I opened it and still no luck, I disconnected the line at the actuater on the fridge end and water was coming out there as well so it is something inside I guess. Followed the manuals instuctions on getting any air out of the system but still no luck..
I was wondering what kind of luck you have had with your 378 since it is pretty new as well. I got a broken drivers seat from the guy who delivered it they tell me (very overweight) the fridge issues, some cosmetic problems and the hand rail just inside the entrance door came apart. Dealer says he is waiting for the seat to arrive and he will fix everything at the same time. hard to believe that it would take 2 months to recieve. He does a lot of snowbird work (people from northern parts of the country here for the winter) and I think he wants the cash work before the warranty work.
Any issuea with yours??

No major problems. The A/C vents wouldn't stay open, they replaced all of them. Rather, they sent me new ones and I replaced them. they all work fine now. The two big slides up front were delaminating on the bottoms and the dealer put a 45 deg. angle on the front edge of the nylon slide plate and this eliminated the problem, which was the sharp leading edge of the plate. The dealer then repainted the spots on the bottom where the delamination showed. All this was done under the instruction of John Armstrong of FR. Other than these two things everything else has run and operated flawlessly. Ours has been a great coach especially for what it cost. I don't think you can beat the bang for the buck Georgetown offers. As far as the broken drivers seat. i doubt that an overweight driver broke it. I weigh 320 lbs. and mine is just fine after 6500 miles of sitting in it. It must have had a flaw of some kind in it to begin with.

how did you recognize the delamination? where do you look for it? I have read about that same problem on other threads on this forum and I want to make sure that if I have that problem it is fixed under warranty. I agree with you on the value of a georgetown. the triple slide 378 has a ton of room...if I were to change anything it would be to add a fourth slide in the bed room and make it a king size bed. I was wondering if I got a decent deal...mind my asking the ballpark of what you paid? If it is too personal I understand. Also, I have noticed when we are parked and hooked up that the heater seems to cycle on and off on propane. I can hear and feel the exhaust coming out the side of the unit. does yours do this? I don't think it is supposed to, especially when you are hooked up to 50A. i am not sure if it is the water heater or the furnace. we have yet to turn on the heat in the RV yet whatever that exterior vent covers, it goes on and off every few hours. Stays on for about 10 minutes. hope you don't mind the questions as this is our first RV and it is great to be able to ask someone with the same model some questions....

Check for 14 volts (Alt) at blue lead, main terminal block back of fridge required for lock to operate when engine running. Mine was missing. Check door jam contats prevent ice/water ops when door is open. If obstructed will prevent paddles from working. Power supply for these is common to main power supply, vs 120 for ice and alt 14 volt for latch.

Vince, thanks for the response...how do you mean door jam contacts? aren't they just like a home fridge with magnetic door seals? or is there an actual electrical contact somewhere?? and the main terminal block..is that behind the exterior fridge vent??

Ray,

Still figuring this system. My note was truncated earlier cause of system goof. Anyway the contacts are called pin contacts shown on exploded view from Dometic part 339. They look like springloaded buttons against flat contacts on frame and door near gasket at bottom of door part. Its only 12 volt so they are exposed. I accidentally discovered on mine a 1350 WIM.

The 14v blue line drove me nuts cause my dealer told me the circuit doesn't exist on thi model. Well lots of troubleshooting I found the fuse 7.5 amp was open and after fixing that the power would not go through the box. No wonder, the wire was parted during installation. Yes the "main terminal block only consists of 3 wires. Red, While and Blue, all 12 volt except blue is Alternator voltage at 14.1. It opposes the system 12 volt and closes the latch, when it stops the 12 volt opens the latch.

My left freezer door would also not latch. They replaced the fridge but that door still has an energy leak. They are going to look at in Elkhart when we stop there for an appointment on April 2. I also think the fan makes a lot of noise. We are also in south TX and the fridge has been able to hold a good temp even with one freezer door leaking.

Vince, thanks for helping make that more clear. My unit is in the dealers shop right now to address a number of issues with the fridge having the most problems. Hopefully the dealer knows about what you desrcibed but I have my doubts. It will be interesting to hear what they say about the fridge issues. if they can not seem to find a solution, I will be armed with your info so thanks! What model do you have??

Falcon35 what do you mean by an energy leak? i find that the doors do not seem to really seal, I mean that it does not take any effort at all to open the doors. We keep the setting on 4 and it seems to keep a cold temp.
