378TS Bed
Anyone know if you can order a 378TS with a king size bed? We love the floor plan. But, we are a larger couple and would be much more comfortable with a king size bed.

That wasn't an option when we bought ours and I don't see it listed as one in the newer ones either. There seems like enough room to do it if they were to do away with the "end table" that is build in on each side but then there might not be enough room to walk around the bed due to the size of the room.
I have always found it odd that with so many RV floorplans out there many do not offer a king size bed. We would like one too but are not willing to give up on the floorplan to get it. We really love our living room area, so huge compared to many so it's a trade off.

We slept on a queen size bed for years and were happy with it, but got spoiled by the "california" king in our Big Horn. We really like the 378TS floor plan, so its not a deal breaker. Trouble is we have close friends that may be getting one. Don't know how either one of us would like that. We like the 374TS, but don't like the TV over the dash.

I don't think its an option. the 378 is tight with a queen size bed and thats a short queen. The closets are too close for a full queen at the end when the slide is closed. We just installed a sleep number mattress and it had to be a short queen.

We did the same thing. Our 370 has the two slides in the bedroom that come together and the bed touches the closet and tv slide. The new 360 DS, similar to a degree of our 370 with the bath and a half has the king bed and the tv is not at the dash area any more. Haven't seen one firsthand but I like that layout better than mine.

The length on the king size beds are the same as the queens. Just thinking that the two door refrigerator, TV in the entertainment center, fireplace and large kitchen area may be enough to offset the queen sized bed. The dinette in the 360DS is a deal breaker for us.

It is for us too. Why don't these RV manufacturers understand that more and more buyers HATE the dinette and offer an option to replace it? I looked at all of the FR diesel floorplans and most all of them have dinettes (if not all) That is enough to keep us from ever buying one. We also hate the TV over the drivers head or otherwise off to one side.

I disliked that dinette so much, I removed it and replaced it with a recliner and tiny table.

I don't mind the dinette - we have children so it sort of makes sense and is a good place for them to do work, write in their journals etc. What is perplexing to me is why in a bunkhouse model (which presumably would appeal to families they would have the shower only rather than the tub shower.
The thing that bugs me most of all about the layout is the huge amount of wasted space. In the bedroom the drawers are separated by a 1/3 of a drawer width - dead space. The area behind the tv - is similarly not accessable and is just dead air.
