378TS XL Questions

You guys have nailed a couple problems I had and now have a couple more questions for anybody who may have the 378TS. First does your bedroom slide extend less than the two living room slides? Mine does not appear to be extending as far. Second I can not find the hot water tank bypass valve in any of the usual locations. Either by the water pump which is by the tank or by the sewer connections. Thanks!!!

Look at post #21 and 22 for location of water heater by-pass access....

My bedroom extends 23" and my living room extends about 28". As for the water heater the is an access port under the water heater cargo hull, unscrew it and you will see the bypass valves.

My model (330TS) has 3 slides, and they all extend different distances.

Coincidentally, the bedroom slide on a lot of models is limited on its travel because the foot of the bed bumps into the dresser at the other side, so you can’t have a deeper slide.

Yea I am not questioning that it seems mine needs to go out an additional 1-2" just to contact the seal.

Then you do have an issue, if it is not sealing on the inside.
Which slide is it?

The bedroom slide is not a deep as the other slides, measure the side depths. The hot water heater bypass is through a round access port under the hot water heater. You have to do the bypass by Braille as you can't see it once you have your hand and arm in the hole, poor design at best.
