391 UFO Driver's Side Slide Binding

Looks like its slide out time on this site.

I would love to see what the slide arm rests on in a photo if somebody would be so kind. My slide runs out easily but always binds for a few seconds on the way in. I've looked at it and it seems to be metal on metal which strikes me as plain wrong. I would have expected a sliding mechanism or at least a teflon surface. So, has something fallen out of my rig's slide mechanism??????
