50 amp to a 30 amp

i have a 2006 georgetown xl370 it has 50 amp electric i am going to a camp ground that onley has 30 amp electric is 30amp enought electric i know i cant run both air sys but what els schould i not turn on

You should be fine as long as you don't run both A/C units

If you have an electric hot water heater you may want to switch to propane. Or just watch what you have on.

I would switch your fridge and water heater to propane and then you should be ok a long as both a/c units don't try to start at the same time.

I have run everything on 30 amp in my camper with no problems except the second A/C. Not switching nothing to propane. Wont hurt to try. If it does trip the breaker then switch to propane.

The main difference between a 30 amp trailer and a 50
is the extra roof AC unit.

Us 30 amp folks get by just fine and I always leave
my refer on AC as well as the hot water heater.

If I try to perk coffee and run an electric heater at the
same time I used to trip my inside 15 amp outlet
breaker.
I added a new circuit just for the floor heater and
now we don't trip AND we leave the refer and HWH on
electric.

I stay twice a year at the York PA Fairgrounds for the Semi-Annual Train Collectors Association Train Meet. They have 30 amp service for us on the parking lot. I run one AC, if needed and have my water heater and fridge on electric. Never had any problems. If I need any more AC I just turn the fan only to On on the second unit and it does the trick. This works since the two shows are in April & October. I usually use the heat more than the AC. Two weeks to go until this Springs Show!!!!

I have a 2007 370xl same coach as yours. 30 amp service just use one a/c unit everything else will be fine.

In addition to all of the above, you might want to look at the voltage the campgrounds is putting out. There are both antalog and digital voltage gages out there that are a must. Most campgrounds that have only 30 amps have marginal voltage and low voltage can cause burned out boards on your hot water heater, ref, and A/c. I leave one plugged in and check it everytime I hook up to both 50 and 30 amps. 105 volts and below can do some damage.

Buy your little voltmeter from camping world, keep it plugged in in an obvious spot and just make sure the needle stays in the green.
