A/C

I've seen a few a/c posts, but none relevant to my issue. The front a/c stopped running, and a red light is flashing. Back works fine.

What brand and model a/c unit? That would help!

If it's a rental I'd call the company

The owner tells us it is our RV for 10 days...to take ownership and get it fixed. She will not p/u our calls, just e-mails. It is a 2010 Georgetown 337.
We rented it in Georgetown, Texas. What are our repercussions if we just abandon it here in Albuquerque and get another?

What does your contract say? Did you by chance rent it with an American Express credit card?

Is this a "Rent by Owner" deal?

The company is Woody's RV Rental out of Georgetown, Texas. And yet, the owner of the company kept saying, "the owner this, the owner that..." I think y'all are correct.

Here's the way I would handle it. If you can survive on one ac I'd just wait till you get back and let them deal with it. Also have you checked the breakers

Let the renter beware ten of tis type of deal.I bet the fine print says call the owner for problems, the woody is just a broker making the % off the deal.

Is there a cab card or insurance info that might give the name and address of the actual owner anywhere in the coach?

I'll look to see if I can find true owner. Adding insult to injury, we had a flat today. I couldn't figure out where spare was so we called them. Their rentals do not come with a spare. You couldn't tell us this up front?
And we realize we have no copy of any contract or anything.
Is this how rentals normally operate?

Whenever your Griswald adventure finally comes to an end, I would call you credit card company and dispute the charges. That will at least get the attention of both the broker and owner.

It is not unusual for a Class A RV not to have a spare tire.

Did you get the Tire insurance they offered when you rented. if so, you will be reimbursed for the purchase of a new tire.

This is not unusual for a rental consignment company. The one I used to rent from would authorize any repairs that occurred while you have the unit out and reimburse or pay for repairs if approved. you probably wont be able to locate the "owner" if they have put the insurance under a commercial policy.
