a/c compressor dripping oil

Greeting
Have not seen much on here about this, 2012 #378 .. 1 year 2 mos. old A/C compressor has drips of oil on bottom both ends. I understand this is not a ford item.
Is there an e-mail or phone number for Mr Armstrong? Or suggestions where to start on this problem .. thanks

I believe the AC compressor is supplied by Ford as part of the chassis, so I would talk to a Ford Truck dealer.

Engine mounted a/c compressor should be ford chassis equipment.
Ford dealer should be ably to take care of it.
Fyi a little seapage is normal when new.

We had the same problem on our 2009 Georgetown 350 it was fixed under my ford chassis warranty . I called my local ford dealer to see if they could handle the repair. There is also a 1 800 number in the ford warranty guide they will set the appointment for you.

oil leaks

when compressor leaks oil you also lose refrigerant. the systems need to be started up in a/c every month year round. if to cold to operate block part of condensor with cardboard to raise discharge psi. seals dry out when not used in rotation over period of time. that will result in leaks.

Thanks to all on this thread, wanted to get this out asap, contacted Mr Armstrong, he got right back to me an confirmed the a/c compressor is part of the ford chassiss. So its off to ford.
FYI for anyone traveling in Atlanta,Ga area Mike Fitzpatrick Ford in Newnan,Ga has a lift big enough to handle our rigs, its easy into them an there very egar to help.Service managers name is Scot.

This is a good reminder to run that chassis ac every so often. I had a habit of only running roof air and had the same problem with my chassis air at the 2 yr 10month mark. Lucky to be still under warranty.
