A/C Fan Won't shut off
Fan is set to Auto, with a set temperature of 68. Fan will run continuously and then will shut off for a few seconds and start back up. Initially, we thought the unit was not cooling to the set point. However, we have tested this by increasing the temperature to over the space point, and the fan performs in the same way. Any ideas on why the fan would act this way.

What model rig do you have, who is the a/c manufacturer, etc.? What else have you done to troubleshoot it? It could be quite a number of things. We need to know details, before we can help. If you don't know the manufacturer, then pictures of your thermostat might help.
Depending on the outside temperature, if you're in the shade, etc. 68 degrees may be unrealistic.

Yah!! There's very little insulation in an rv to keep the heat out. Thus the cycling of the thermostat. 68° is a pretty low temp to try to maintain when it's hot outside. I keep mine set at 74° which is easier to maintain. When it gets above 100°, my a/c runs constantly. Home and rv.

We had an issue like yours. We found out you have to go to fan set go thru low, high then auto. Then go to cool with your temperature set and mine worked. It now gets to temp and shuts off when before it just kept running. A repair serviceman was working on an RV next to us and showed me that. I can't remember the name of my thermostat but I have a 2017 Georgetown XL 378. IF that doesn't work you may have it set to low like others have said. I keep mine at 75. Also be sure to press cold.

Where are you? I haven't seen a 68 temp since March. It's been in the high 90s here for 3 months.

It's definitely odd for us too. We are in the Panhandle of Texas. Headed to 95+ temps in the Dallas area.

Our dometic does the same thing. But when it does turn back on it is at a different speed. I believe it does it so ice does not build up on the evaporator coils and also to keep the humidity down.
It is normal.

Correct. On some Dometic units with the fan on Auto, the fan will shut off for a few seconds when sensing the need for a different fan speed. Absolutely normal.

Are you sure the fan is set to Auto. There is also an Auto setting on the temperature control.

Our fan in AC wouldn't shut off either. I saw on another thread about turning it to fan and then switching to auto first. I tried it yesterday with the AC on and it worked just like it was supposed too. You have three choices on fan. Low, high and auto. Set it to auto and the switch to AC and it should work. By the way how can you stand 68 degrees? lol
