Exclamation A Dirty Job Done

Well as some of you know the bowl on our toilet was a little loose so I call Dometic to see if I could get a manual which show how to re-tighten the bowl to the pedestal. Giving a great shout out for Dometic they insisted that they send me a complete new toilet and not to worry about it just replace it. Well I saw a post that shows the 4 screws that hold the 2 pieces together and when I got the new toilet I checked everything out. Well I took the old toilet out, tighten the 4 screws and did a complete wash job on the toilet. Well the good news is that everything went back together and I have a new toilet as a backup. One would not realize the crap that goes down there..

Ours is loose.
Do you think just tightening the bolts will last?
Did you use Loctite on them?

Thanks

No did not think of lock tight but it lasted 2 years and was a little loose, I think it will last a couple more if not longer, but it only takes 15 minutes to do the complete job, and that was using a power hose to wash the inside out. All you will need is a long flathead screwdriver to tighten the screws and a 7/16 wrench to take the hold down bolts off.
