Accu-Slide cable system, stuck in.

Has anyone had any luck pushing the main slide from a 2015 GT 364 OUT to be able to replace the motor?

We have an Accu-Slide cable system, the motor is mounted above the slide, behind a fascia board. With the slide IN (and stuck in) I can't access the motor.

I spoke with a service tech with Norco Industries (maker of the slide system) and he said to just apply pressure to both ends of the slide while someone else holds down the "Out".

Our slide went out about 8 inches, then the gears started slipping and grinding and the slide halted completely, no budge. Luckily it comes back in.

Any ideas?
