Add a room

Has anyone used an Add-a-room or Patty-O-Room? Wondering if this is possible and getting different opinions from different dealers. We have a 2010 Georgetown with a Dometic power awning (without a wind sensor). Been told by some that it's no problem and by others that it will not work. Has anyone done this? Thanks in advance.

Best way to get an answer would be to go to Dometic's Site here:

http://www.dometic.com/enus/Americas...ducts/awnings/

Call or email customer support and ask them. They made it and should know what will work if anything.

I think this same question just came up on the FMCA (Family Motor Coach Assoc.) forums. I think the answer is that you can do it, you have to disable the automatic wind feature (which I find doesn't work anyway) so that you can attach it.

As Windrider pointed out, contact Domettic for more information.

thanks, contacted Dometic and Carefree, both said it's doable. Although Carefree seemed to have nicer customer support, has me wondering which to go with.
