then yes as long as your using the same brand of replacement fan.

you can always call the manufacturer and make sure they'll swap.

Typically, yes. But the controls for the fan being discussed are still at the fan. You won't gain a thing referencing reaching the controls.

in my previous RV a Montana 5r, the fan had a thermostat that turned the fan on/off when the temp got high when she cooks.
