I use a cheapy transfer pump from Harbor Freight. When I change the oil I use this with a 6 foot ladder that has a tray to set the oil on.

Multi-Use Transfer Pump

I bought a calibrated funnel with a 1/4 twist shut off valve at walmart. It comes with a 18" clear hose which is removed. The funnel can be inserted in the oil fill pipe and with your other hand can dump oil in 1 quart at a time. No spills no mess. Six operations and you're done.

Everytime I put oil in our Georgetown I was amazed that with all the research and technology that Ford puts ito its products that the lowly oil fill tube is not given a second thought. I especially had these thoughts when it would spill. It would have been easy to design a better fill tube.

Changed the oil for the first time today and I added a 5/8 id hose to my tranz funnel and poured the 5 qt mobil 1 5w 30 jug + 1 Qt with ease there was a small amount left in hose so I unhooked the funnel and blew the rest in with the hose 30 minutes for total oil change. Thanks for the help everyone.
