Has anyone put them on their F-53. This is my next investment. I have already tried the trimbrens and I don't feel they do enough to smooth the ride. I am mostly looking to smooth the ride. I know they will help with the towing we do, but I don't like how harsh the suspension is now. Also, I put new bilsteins on last year. That helped a little. I cringe when this chassis hits any road joints or bigger bumps.

Question...did the Timbrens help any with rear sagging with your camper hitched (what type of camper & weight are you towing)?

Hi!

I have a Ford F550 with Link Manufacturing Ultra Ride air suspension system. Water in the system is the big issue so if yo are spending the money buy the air drier up front.

The ride is great and self adjusting. This is not the Firestone air bag system to help level the truck while still using the leaf springs. The Ultra Ride replaces the springs. Kelderman has a nice system too.

The systems are expensive but if you are doing the miles or the roads are not great then it is a terrific solution to a bumpy ride.

I've installed the Firestone air bags on one MH and my F-150. They are great for better height adjustment depending on the load. They will not increase your suspension limits but does give you ride height adjustment. I choose not to use the Timbern system because it was said that it gave a harsh ride. They only come into play when you are loaded down.
