We love having 4 seasons...well, except this last winter of course. Our town comes alive in the spring especially after a harsh winter. It's kind of like no pain no gain.

.....that's the beauty of what we do.....Rving.....I can drive there and see your beautiful spring and perhaps stay until the first snow flakes start to fall and then get the heck back to where it's warm!

WDK...will be taking delivery on a 280DS shortly. Have you done any of the suspension/handling fixes/upgrades and if so...what worked well?
Anything to watch out for on the inspection?
Thanks in advance...

I happen to not drive class a vehicles in my work, I also have been instructing for 20 years and under a program we have....I have certified at least 200 drivers.....I say that because I have not found any driving problems.
sway etc....there always the occasional gust but it drives just fine. We have been out 4 times so far and knock on wood we have not had any problems except there is a little speckle of glue on our ceiling which will be repainted on their dime and last but not least if you can make them put valve extensions on all the tires not just the inside dully's. Right now we have but to start adding our own upgrades....a different GPS, solar panel, satellite TV and the cup holders found in the XL models and we will be perfectly happy.....we got this size because it fits in our driveway meaning we don't have to store it.

Thanks WDK...great to know this. I'm gonna be hanging 2 scooters on the tongue on a carrier so that will probably affect handling some...but it is good to know that the base coach drives fine. Will deal with any "scoot effect" after the fact then.
Good to know about the valve extensions. Was planning on installing a TPM system so will deal with the issue at the same time.
If you think of anything else...drop me a PM...Thanks!
