AM radio

I have just got a new Georgetown 378. I get absolutely nothing when I set the Clarion radio to AM, no static or anything. FM is fine. I haven't started problem determination yet but any suggestions would be great...........Jackie

It has to be the radio if the FM works fine and you switch to AM and no sound or static. They use the same antenna and cable.
Let the dealer figure it out after you add it to the dealers repair list I'm sure you have.

I have the same problem. No AM sound from Jensen dash radio or RCA home theater system. FM is fine on both. Did you get yours resolved?

If they have used a amplified antenna like I have no AM will ever work. It is only FM capable. A rod or unamplified antenna would work but the LED lights emit interference in my Rockwood rendering reception noisy.
