got one from RV Lock for my FR3 29DS. had a special over presidents day for an extra fob for free -- and $25 off. will be installing it next week -- hope it fits! love the idea about using a fob to lock and unlock the door. also of course has the keypad.

Bama
Let us know how that works out.
It looks like a good quality lock compared to others I have seen.
Will be looking forward to your review.

If you are installing the V4 lock like the link above I'm curious if both the regular lock and dead bolt both lock with the remote FOB.

The video shows only on red knob locking but it doesn't show both inside levers moving.

I read the batteries don't last long as one user mentioned.
They will be dead in about 4 days if used a lot I guess.

Please take pictures also.
Thx
Iggy

It is only the deadbolt. Still need to lock the handle with the key.

Luck of the draw, I guess. My first lock lasted a year on the original batteries.

RVLock

I installed the Class C RVLock on my Georgetown 364ts. It went in begrudgingly. Took about 2.5 hours to modify the strike plate (read remove reat trim panel and remove strike plate to grind and drill). The deadbolt didn't work from the factory (go figure), so this needed to be remedied before installing the RvLock. Once that was fixed, the opening on the door needed to be increased by about 1/16th to 1/8th inch in order to align. Finally, our MH has the full-body paint, so now I need to touch up the handle area because the unpainted gelcoat now is visible in certain spots.

Overall, an investment of about 4 hours total and a bit of frustration. The lock is darn fancy though and the kids love the keyless feature.

The only question I had was does both the deadbolt and regular lock with the remote FOB. I asked the manufacturer and here is his reply.
So to really lock both you need to use the key as well as the remote to lock both locks.
I'll wait unit the V5 that will do both then I may consider it.

Hi Iggy,
The remote and keypad will only lock /unlock the deadbolt.
The red lever on the inside unlocks/locks only the deadbolt.
The deadbolt is where the security is so we recommend using that to lock up.

I did my install today. It installed with no issues in my coach. Hole was right size. You have to turn the key in the lock to get to to clear and come out. The original door jam striker was the same as the new one so no need to replace it.
