Audio from audio input on passenger side
Okay... I'm usually pretty good with A\V stuff but I can't figure this one out. I put a DVD in above the passenger in the cabinet where the switcher and inputs are at. I plugged in the left\right\video cable. Moved the switch to the appropriate position and get video to the main TV without audio. So, I know the connect and switch are correct...but what do I need to do for the audio???!!
Additionally, it seems like that input is only wired for the main TV and not the bedroom TV. Am I correct in this assumption? I might kill it all and put HDMI XBoxes at each location. DVDs, gaming and streaming audio/video when I have an internet connection. :-)

The sound comes from the surround sound system - not from the TV.

When you say 'surround system'... are you referring to the radio head unit in the dash? There aren't any additional electronics in our coach.

Come on now. Are you telling me you have no surround sound DVD player any where.

Nope. None. 2 TVs and the head unit radio in dash. Am I missing something that I should have received?

My 2011 Georgetown 378TS has a RCA Surround Sound receiver in the overhead cabinet on the passenger side of the coach. The dvd, and radio plays through the surround sound speakers.
Take another look.

There aren't any electronics...that's where I placed my DVD player and where the audio/video inputs are at. I just can't figure out where the sound goes to. Do you have to change the input on the radio to AUX or something?

Our dash radio is a Jensen and plays dvds. Surround sound and sub, not great but good enough for me. 13 351ds

I am adding one in back. It does not connect to the front DVD.

Could there be 'standard equipment' which was not delivered with mine? As far as I know, I have my dash radio and a 2 speakers; one in each corner behind a black grill.

To my knowledge the home theater package that includes the RCA surround is not "standard" but is an upgrade that you have to ask and pay for. If you did not add that option then you are not missing anything.

Indeed, I just looked and the home theater setup was a line item option on the build sheet. You could add the Jensen product if you wanted, it is DV2011.

Resolved
After banging my head for about an hour, switching up cables, DVD player, and all of that.... I decided to go after the easy stuff. After all, that's what we pay Forest River for... right?? WRONG!!! It turned out that the cable which goes from over the passenger to the main cabin TV's audio was plugged into the wrong inputs on the back of the TV!!!
I first dug into the Toshiba manual to look at the jacks on the back of the TV and noticed that it'd be easy to confuse the audio L/R inputs and could possibly be plugged into the outputs. Sure enough, when I took off the back plate in the bathroom... BOOM! Switched them around and now I have audio from my DVD player! Wham! Another one fixed!

My 2012 is setup like yours and I get sound out of the TV just by using the RCA hook ups.
