Awning

silly question, how do you tilt the Awning to keep the rain water from collecting at the middle? We own a 2016 Georgetown 351DS.

Your help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Matt

On my vengeance you can just grab one of the support arms and pull it down a bit. You can adjust it on either side. Mine is a power awning so it should be about the same as yours.

Might be similar to this. Pull at the "knee".

I googled your model Georgetown and the pics with awnings looks like mine so it should adjust the same. Very nice rig btw.

There should be a knob on the awning arm you can tighten after you pull down on the end you want to lower. IMPORTANT: be sure you loosen the knob before your roll the awning up. I attach one of these to the knob whenever I tighten it so I do not forget to loosen the knob before rolling up the awning. You can find them on ebay.

My 2012 non powered awning had a knob but my 2016 power awning does not have one. Makes me wonder how long before I will wish it had a knob to keep the awning in place...

Mine did have a knob, I loosened it but it still wont budge! I wonder if I need to spray it to loosen the connection between the plastic and the metal rail!

Other than the awning, we really have not had any major issues with it. Oh, apart from the fact that the brakes and connections were so dry that I have to grease the connections and brakes.

Thanks,
Matt
