Awning on a 2006 340ts

Anyone have this camper and if so how does the awning work out with the kitchen slide open? I am picking ours (new to us) up in a week and looking at it can't figure out how you could lower the outer edge of the awning with the slide topper peg sticking straight up.

I have seen several RV/trailers that have a slide in the middle of the awning I find this kind of a bother because it does/could take away from area under the slide.
Yes you could put the slide in while the awning out.

Anyway the awning should clear the slide when deployed.

Try putting the awning out first then the slide while checking for clearance issues.

That (Peg) is the (Anti-Billowing) bumper arm. Look up the proper adjustment on Dometic slide topper site. PS be sure to use (2) screws in the bumper when securing on the roller tube, with Blue Loctite. Youroo!!

Are you sure the slide is all the way out?
