If you don't have the build sheet, you will have to contact FR factory for the numbers.

I called FR at 574-389-4600, talked to Kevin, gave him my GT 360 VIN, he pulled up my Motorhome file and he gave me my awning serial number.

Ours is 317xxxx also.
Guess that explains why I haven't seen anything about it other than here. Will probably still call and confirm anyway.

Found ours on the sheet in the packet we received at delivery - it has every component serial number in one place

My unit is in a shed with the awning not extended, and I could not find the SN anywhere, so I guess it will have to be extended.

FR verified that my awning's serial number was not part of the recall.

Looked at mine last night. I dont think i am part of the recall. I got a little confused because the post a few pages back has one less digit in the serial number then my awning has. But i believe the first three numbers are the key, so i am good. I hope.
FYI you only have to open about a foot to see the tag with the serial number on it.

So...getting ready for a quicky weekend and open the awning a little to try to find the serial number. Didn't find it BUT did find one of the main pivot bolts half way out of the bracket. Who knows where the star washer is but it did bend the bracket. Hammered it in for now and Woodstock was going in for other warranty work next week anyways.

Ours is a very early 2013 model. We have sn# 244xxxxx. The funny thing is tha both awnings have the same serial number. The awning were assembled 11/01/2102.

Ok then. Well if it decides to answer one day you obviously forgot your meds that day.
