Back scare light

I would like to install a light on the back of my motorhome..does anyone have any idea whether or not there is a 12v wire back there that may be connected to the main switch?? I have a call in to FR,but am not optimistic, have only had the call in for 3-4 weeks with no returns..

It's not likely you'll find the 12v source you're looking for to install a scare light on the back of your Georgetown.

Scare lights are kind of a 5th wheel thing more than motorhomes.............not sure why, they just are.

The only 12v wiring you'll likely find inside the rear wall of your rig would be for taillights, brake lights etc.

One of the wires on the trailer plug might be hot.

I believe the Black wire to the trailer plug is a 12v, the white wire should be the ground. I believe there is also a purple wire that supplies the reverse lights.
