I have a black and white on my Georgetown 2010. 338s
Is there a color one that would fit in?

You should talk to these guys. The carry a plug and play color replacement for your unit. I did this on my Berkshire.

Oh - and they are very nice people as well..

At what dollar cost to make the replacement?

It's proably not just the matter of replacing the camera at the rear of the MH but also the monitor inside has to be changed to produce a color picture.

Is this kind of detail really necessary? To each their own.

Actually - it was just a matter of changing the camera at the rear for us. The monitor is already color. :-)

It does give you a bit more information especially when pulling into sites. What we found was the various shades of gray would sometimes blend together..
