Back up camera

Has anyone replaced their back up camera with one that has a better field of view? My factory installed camera shows only about the first 1/2 of the toad (after being properly adjusted).

I have a 2012 and it shows almost all of the toad.
Mine has a 120 degree view. You can find wider views.
Here is a link for many camers.

Make sure that you don't have any paint or tape on the lens.

I just checked and boy those cameras are expensive.
I'm considering finding a camera for my roof so I can switch over to camera 4 and see if I will hit anything when pulling into gas stations to refuel or low trees in campgrounds.

Once I scrapped the paint off the lens....it's much better. I would like to get a camera with a better viewing area, but this will do for now. Thanks for the idea to check that.....

Good luck and let us know what you decide cause I'd like to know how it looks after you install.

No. How old a Georgetown do you have?
Does it look like if you were looking into your rear view mirror?
If so that is correct.
If you don't like that you may be able to reverse if you read the book and get into the setup and video orientation mode. What model system do you have. Mine and yours may be different.

NO.. It's a 2014... Right off the line! Looking at the screen- monitor its backward, cars passing is on the opposite side:
ours is a 2014 georgetown 377 xl, it's beautiful, we do have a few problems with it mostly minor, after being without hot water all weekend, on our first trip out, getting ready to come home he found the water heater valve a cold water connector was open!

No it's not like the rear view mirror.

Camera monitor
I think you have the touch screen one with the radio. I have an older model. You will have to read your manual.

You did not mention the brand and model of your camera system, but there is an option on some units called "MIR" or "NOR" for mirror or normal position.

In MIR position the picture will be reversed.
In NOR position the picture will be normally displayed.

Depending on what model you have this could be a hardware switch or a menu choice during the setup procedure.

Got your owners manual???????
