banks system

Has anyone installed the "Banks system" in ther gas MH?? thinking of putting one in our 2010 350 TS to increase Hp and gas mileage (according to the ad that is what it is suppose to do) need any opiions

Before we bought our Georgetown we towed with a Ford Excursion which also has the V10 engine with the Banks system. I'm not sure how much it really increased my gas mileage - I could never tell a big difference. The problem I had was every few weeks the check engine light would come on, stay on for a few days, and then go off. I had it checked out by the dealer multiple times. The dealer said nothing was wrong except that the Banks system was feeding too much air into the intake which would trigger the light. Banks refused to help stating that their system does not cause such problems.

It doesn't seem to help the gas mileage, but increases the power noticeably (probably why the mileage doesn't improve!).

That said, I like having it over the first V-10 I had that didn't.

We go to the High Sierras a few times a year, and some of the passes are long and mean, but we get through them quite well, towing a Jeep Liberty or Wrangler.
