Battery compartment

Has anyone added batteries to a 2014 GT 351 DS. I want to up my batteries to 4 and the original compartment is too small unless someone has done this with mods. Please share.

I've spent a few hours "cyphering" (i.e. staring with a blank look) at the battery area of our 350xl. I envision cutting off the current rack and starting over. Once that is done, there is plenty of room to fabricate a new rack. I'd like to think I'm a good enough welder to make it happen, but I am not, and my little MIG welder wouldn't be up to the task anyway. I'll be getting estimates from a local fabricator in the near future and let you know what he says.

Thanks Pilot, I would appreciate that. I've even considered moving everything to the compartment on the other side of the entry steps. Because I am not real happy with how far the inverter (for residential fridge) is from the batteries. There would have to be fabrication done there too as it is not strong enough for 4 batteries (original two plus two I want to add).
