the switch I'm referring to is the switch is in the rear left side compartment of my Motorhome in an electrical box that automatically switches when you run the Generator as your source of power to when you plugged into the 50amp shoreline as my power source. Or the other way around. Wasn't working properly.

Everything worked in the motorhome. Except the microwave didn't power up while running the Generator and the batteries did not charge. There was nothing wrong with my BCC

What you are referring to is your automatic switching solenoid (contactor) that has several other nomenclatures that switches to genny power when the genny is running. The solenoid will always default to shore power but the genny will always have priority. Evidently your solenoid was not switching properly or had internal issues. Your issue was not related to the OP's issue.
