Battery cut off switch

I have a 2011 Georgetown and the house batteries keep draining
Anybody no of a cut off switch that would work if it was on the positive side of the two house batteries

That is what your storage switch is for, to disconnect the batteries from the circuit. Does it not work?

When you store it, shut the screen door, reach in, flip off the switch, then shut the big door. That's what most of us do. You can also use a magnet to retract the stairs with both doors open. You'll see the sensor low on the door opening and the magnet on the screen door.

Even with the battery switch off there is some parasitic draws on the batteries. If you really want to completely isolate the battery bank from the coach you can put any variety of switches on either the positive or negative side of the bank, whichever is easiest to get to. Some folks will argue that it has to be the positive side but either side will work to "break" the complete circuit.

There must be some parasitic current draw on the batteries when in storage mode because some individuals have measured it but I believe no one has identified what that draw is (might be from battery control center). The current draw I believe is in the milliamp range and therefore hooking to shore power for a day or so (storage switch on) once a month will keep the batteries charged. I also do what Networx does to disconnect batteries for storage ( reach thru screen door and flip step and battery storage switches to off ) then close main door and secure. When you re-open door the stairs will deploy even with the switches off. Lippert last man out safety feature?

Hi!

Look up Marine battery switch on eBay and you will find all kinds. I have a 300 amp model and have no issues. I like the models with fully covered backs for safety but its your call.

Your likely to find them at marinas or marine supply outlets.

If you are leaving the propane flow switch on and the valve open this will kill the batteries fast.
