Battery Watering

It is a bit difficult and certainly time consuming to remove the vent cover caps from several of my batteries in order to check the water level in the cells. There are several products on the market that claim to provide an “easy” way to regularly check/adjust water levels.

Has anyone installed any type of system they are happy with?

Happiness is sealed deep cycle. No watering. Also my LP detector no longer goes off all the time.

Yes: I have the one similar to Camping World. Bought it at the Goshen rally a couple of years ago.

Just connect the tube, put other end in distilled water bottle and squeeze bulb. Do that about once a month when set up here in FL over the winter and whenever I begin a trip in the summer.

I like the system and hope it will save my batts from getting too dry.

I bought this on my first set of OEM Georgetown batteries but removed when I got my new set of batteries.
Its ok but you can possible over fill if you don't follow the directions when filling.
I really don't think this is worth $60 and would be glad to sell you mine for $20 plus $5 shipping if you like.

haha you da bomb Iggy These gadgets work great on a bench. Not so easy under the steps, etc.

A turkey baster from the $1 store works well for adding distilled water to the batteries. Keep it simple and cheap!

All I need to do is find it and remember to put it in the rig before I head to Goshen.

I would not like to be without it in our Georgetown because of how the batteries are mounted under the steps.

Iggy No don't feel like i want the Turkey Baster option and thanks we'll hook up. Been off the past couple days went to Mardi Gras for Fat Tuesday and had a blast. Today I am paying for it.
