Bed Spread

We are still sorting things out in our 2012 Georgetown 378. The bed spread and the big pillows look real nice but where do you put them at night when you go to bed? The spread is to hot to sleep under and if you do how do you clean it.

If no one else is with us, we put it on the dinette table for the night. It goes back when the bed is made up. Otherwise if we have our daughters with us the comforter gets folded and laid at the foot of the bed with the throw pillows on top of it.

I actually bought a lighter weight solid brown quilt and use it like a bedspread tuck in under pillows and no shams. The problem we had was the comforter was heavy and slick, if we folded back it ended up on floor. Like the quilt much better. Stored the original comforter and shams in case we ever trade/sell.

We found the same thing with folding the comforter back, it always ended up on the floor so we just decided to fold it first and place it out of the way. It will definitely keep you warm if needed. It may not be real thck but it's very dense.

We chucked the spread and pillow covers at the first campground we went to. The slick sprad could not work and it was kind of cheesy.

Thank's All,
We will be watching for a quilt that is a good match with the bed room.

We fold ours up and stick them on the couch in the living room. Not a big deal for having a nice looking bedroom during the day.
