Beeping sound

I have a new to me 2007 Georgetown XL 378. I am hearing impaired, yet I can hear a beeping sound. It seems to come from the compartment just rear of the door. Does anyone know what it is?
Thanks in advance.

Without knowing your trailer, the first thing that comes to mind is the smoke detector. They will chirp occasionally when its battery is low.

CO detector may beep/chirp also if battery is low.

In our 2014 378, the power inverter was beeping because of low voltage in the house batteries.

I cannot hear it inside the MH, only in the one basement compartment. Steady beeping. Being hearing impaired, it doesn't sound loud. The two house batteries are dead, I will replace them soon. Too many other projects, on this rig.

Sounds like it is likely the inverter acknowledging that the house batteries are bad.
