Black Tank Flush

Hi All,

This is my first post on this forum. We just purchased a used 2008 FRG 315 SE. Apparently the previous owner opted to have a water filter put in in place of the black tank flush. My question is, have any of you ever put in the system after market, and if so, how difficult and/or expensive is it to do? We are DIY's, so we would hopefully be able to do this ourselves. Is it even feasible? The water filter is not very important to us, but it would be nice to have the black tank flush. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

I installed a Tornado tank flusher on my TT and it is a must have in my opinion. Very easy to install.

Thanks. I have read about the Tornado, but I was wondering about the Weld-A-Flush that FR installs. I have not written to FR yet, but I was wondering if anyone has installed a Weld-a-Flush after purchase. Do the black water tanks come with the part inside already installed, therefore just needing to hook up the peripherals? There is a place for one on the panel with the fresh water fill. Does anyone know where it would be located on the black water tank? We tried looking for a spot to put the Tornado, if we got one, and cannot hardly see the tank, let alone where to install it. I would hate to go to the work of taking the pluming apart, and then the entire panel, to then find out we did not have to. Because we bought this from a dealer we are having to discover everything on our own. Can get a bit frustrating, and the paperwork is definitely lacking all the info we need.
Thanks again,
Sharon
