Black water flush waterline leak-I have a leak near the top of the water heat...

I have a 2008 GeorgetownXL 359.
Is there another access point to get to the lines in addition to the 5 in hole near the water heater?

Thanks.

I have a 378 XL, the Nozzle going in to the Black tank was broken when
install and I also found black putty in the nozzle and the leak on top of the
hot water heater and the water was dripping in that 5 inch hole,

so lift the side panel door and you have the HWT plus you will see were
the Water is dripping, the panel at the bottom you will see 2 L shape
braket with 2 screw each

Hmmm. I don't think I have those brackets. My repair was delayed and I've been called out of town. I should be back early next week and I'll see if I can get a pic of my access area.

Thanks for the info.

Found the pesky leak. It was the check valve for the black water flush. Valve was cracked. Will get new one and be good to go.

Valve was located on the side wall above the water heater. We got to it by removing the drawers under the pantry in the galley. Could have been worse.

Thanks for your help.

Travel safe.
