Flush your tank and add some bleach water to it. Check your roof vents to make sure the covers are on. The flies are getting in and laying eggs somehow.

Don't leave your valves open when hooked up to long term dumping sites. Flies = Eggs = Flies inside.

I turn off the water supply and spray flying insect killer down the drain for a couple of seconds. You may have to do it once a day until they're gone.

Aquaman, Most vent caps that F/R uses are Caps/Lids I have never seen screens installed from the Factory? On our house they are just Open PVC pipe no covers or screens. Youroo!!

Ive had problems with gnats in my gray water tank in the past. Now I just keep the valves closed, even for a long-term set up. Just gotta remember to dump on a regular basis.

Take a hose a wash down your vent pipe then add some ant killer or fly killer, should take care of the the egg problem.
