Bottom sweeper seal??

Well was looking at the slide today and noticed there is no seal under the slide... I can see where the glue was but no seal.. ( I have a cable driven full wall slide... )anyone have any pics of how the slide goes on?? Called Forest River but all they could tell me is it's 2" sweeper seal($4.20 ft)..

Any pics or help would be appreciated..Thank you

All the cable drive (Accuslide) slide outs I've seen did not have a bottom wiper. Just the top and sides, then you could see the rollers underneath.

I have a 2014 GT 361 and it does not have bottom seals. Exactly as BigJohnD explained it. Top and Sides but open on the bottom.

The person I,spoke with at forest river must have been mistaken..But it does look like something was there toward the bottom back as I can see outline of some type of adhesive ..(if I lift carpet in front of slide I can see daylight through. A 1/16 gap between main floor and slide floor..) is this normal??

Unfortunately, yes it's normal. Our above floor lippert slide, and some of the schwinteks we've had did have visible daylight underneath, with or without the bottom wiper. Doesn't look the best, but solved this with a pool noodle while set up camping. Mainly to keep the cold air, mosquitos and anything else out.

If I look under and toward the back of slide I can see that something was glued there .. Before ..

Got any pictures of what you're describing, as in where the glue was or something?

Sorry no pics.. But bottom of slide behind rollers . Looks like something was glued there that wiped / sealed upward against bottom of slide.. You would need a a light to look in that area ..

Thanks Iggy.. Yours looks like it's held on with a bracket ( is your a hydraulic slide ?) I have similar recess ( mine is cable driven with rollers) looks like mine was glued on ..

While re-attaching the wipers on the front slide I remembered reading this post and looked closer on the bottom of the slide. There is a wiper further in behind the rollers on mine. Don't know how I could ever get to it to wipe with silicone spray but there is one in there I had never noticed. Didn't know exactly where you were trying to describe until re-reading your post just now. Will try to get a pic for you but might be difficult due to the location. Will also check the back slide.

I tried to take a pic of my wiper seal after reading these post. As CJ says mine is located behind the rollers towards interior if coach. Hope this helps.

Thanks For the pic ..

Hard to see but Looks like it's right up against the rear bulkhead and the seal lip itself is just laid flat against bottom of slide.. Am I correct ?? What keeps it from getting pulled the other way when you close it? .. Seems I always have to unjam a seal either on the outside or inside ...( part of seal gets pulled in when closing and stays that way when opened )..

I believe it's attached on the interior side of the lower outside wall. As slide goes in or out the seal lays to that particular direction. If slide wasn't there seal would stand straight up, vertical. I guess they moved it at some time from exterior to interior in same wall during newer model years.
