The 328 is on a different chasis I believe, so when they went to 22k for added weight of the 364 they must have decided bigger tires at some point.
Don't get me wrong I like some of the XL upgrades but a 2nd bathroom wasn't one of the available ones...plus the king bed. I liked the 352qs xl but no residential fridge and just the one bath. 4 kids and 2 adults makes 2 bathroom seem like the way to go.

Thank you
Thank you everyone - we ended up talking to the factory rep at Forest River and learned that the 2015 364TS originally started with 19.5" wheels (on the 22,000 chassis) and about halfway through the model year they switched to 22.5" wheels. The rep said this was to standardize the line for certain manufacturing processes. Who knows.
We've decided to stick with our original plan of getting the 2015 364TS (with the smaller wheels). We'd have to travel 600+ miles to get a 2016, and we realized the 2015 is great for us; no need to spend more money and several days driving right now.

Good for you and congrats! Bargain hard though, as they should really want to move this unit!

I have the 2016 364TS it is on the 22.5s and it has the 6 speed trans. I will say I love it so far. I am debating doing the CHF. We have strong side winds the other day and wife was not happy driving it. But later that day winds died down and she liked driving then. I think I will do the CHF on the back a take her on a test drive.

Snoodle,
you may want to consider the Safe T Plus steering stabilizer or something similar. There is a recent thread here discussing options. Take a look.....

We have a early model 2016 364 TS and it came with the 22.5's. It was explained to me that it had the running gear of the larger chassis of the XL line but a slightly lighter capacity rating at around 22500 compared to the 24,000. The chassis that come with the 19.5's are even lighter at around 20,000. I may be off by a few hundred pounds as I am going on memory right now. What I would be concerned with is that they did a tire swap for someone else and gave you the smaller tires. I have not really had great experiences with RV dealers, and I could see them doing this. Even though it may be a bit cheaper for the tires, it definitely rides better with the 22.5's. The only problem with them is they are a bit tricky to find as they are only used on RV's it seems. This size is not used on big trucks or buses. I am looking for possible substitutions for the future. I am also looking to pick up as spare to carry. I have the tire insurance, but who wants to wait on the side of the road, when you can change it within 20 min yourself. You do need a torque multiplier as the 22.5's require about 450ft/lbs of torque. Either way do some more research is my best recommendation.

Lots of misinformation being posted here. Takes very little to Google the F53 chassis and look at the FORD chassis specifications. The only current (2014 +) chassis that comes from the factory in either 19.5 (55 degree wheel cut) or 22.5 (42 degree wheel cut) tires is the 22,000# chassis, which is the ONLY chassis on which the 364 is built. I'm told there will be a 24,000# version in 2018, but take told for what it is, someone's opinion. Don't be mislead by the "I seem to remember" or the "my friend/salesman/mechanic" told me. Facts are there for the viewing.

I wouldn't be surprised if a similar model doesn't show up in the XL line, as well as in the Berks.

My "might be" info came from a factory rep at one of the Spring RV shows. I mentioned that I really liked the 364 floor plan, but that we regularly carry 3000 to 3500# of stuff with us, and since we like to boon dock whenever possible, travel with tanks full going in, and holding tanks pretty much full coming out. 22k chassis was probably a little light. He said if I could hold on to 2018, maybe earlier, there MIGHT be something in that floor plan on a 24k chassis that would work if I omitted the porcelain tile option.
I like the Berk XL 40A, but off my list because you have to take BOTH the tankless water heater and the residential fridge. That pretty much kills boondocking.
