Here is an update to this thread and a question for some of you tech experts out there. We are at a park (Fort Wilderness at Disney to be specific) and all TVs have tuned in 93 channels on cable (good!) But on the bedroom and living room TVs, some of the cable channels get a good picture but no audio. Out of curiosity I checked the bunk TVs and they DO get audio on those particular channels.

How or why would we get a great picture and no audio on some TVs on only select channels while another TV does get the audio?

Some receivers (Tv's) can be set to receive the SAP audio channel "Secondary Audio Program" typically used for a secondary language. If TV is set to receive SAP, and the sub carrier is being broadcast but has no audio content, the channel may appear to have a "no audio" condition. Not saying this Is the resolution, but is something to check in the audio settings of the affected TV.

People use to get that turned on around here and the local NBC network would be playing the weather report rather than the program audio of what was displayed on the screen.

Just a thought.

Update: I called Toshiba tech service and they suggested resetting the tv to factory specs. I did that, retuned the channels, and now we have audio on all channels. Go figure.

Menu> installation> reset tv

Now...if we can just figure out why dvds come through black and white and poor picture quality. We have the jensen dash radio/dvd player combo. I'm guessing a bad connection either behind the radio or behind the tv

Don't get me wrong, I love my coach. However, not getting wiring diagrams for the coach has been my biggest complaint. One should not have to trace out and create wiring diagrams. I see no way these could be proprietary...It is just a wiring diagram.

Is this something that is commonly provided by other manufacturers?
