Camera not working

I have a brand new 378XL that I brought home from dealer two months ago and all was working great. Have just had RV sitting in yard and the other day started it up to get it ready to go on first road trip and when I went to show a friend how when I turn on blinkers the camera comes on to show you up the side and now the right sided one not working any more. All that happens is when I put the blinker on the screen just says no signal . Left one and the back up camera still works. Any ideas. I'm thinking camera must have quit working.

Does the parking brake need to be off for the camera to work?

I'm asking because I do not know.

Camera not working

Make sure all video inputs are securely in the plug located on the control module
The control module is behind the radio

Could your directional light bulb be burned out?

The directional lights are all working. When I turn on left directional the left lights flash on and off and left camera comes on, when I turn on right directional the right lights flash but camera does not come on. But it does say on radio screen no signal it like the other person was saying that the camera might not be plugged in or I'm thinking camera broke.

Camera not working

Just looked at my 378XL. You can see the video control module from the drivers side behind the radio. But you only see the side of the module and 3 video cable on the top of it. You can not see the top with the writings for Video inputs.
Just push the cables in. If they are all secure then take off the panel that hold the radio and you will be able to see the control module easily with the writings.
You may want to switch the left and right video cables and see if you get a signal from the side that was not working. That way if it still does not work it may be the cable, camera or the connector to the video camera. There is a water tight connector running to the camera in the engine compartment that may need to be pushed together.

RAMAIR posted the following pictures in mid-October of this year.
They show camera connections in the engine compartment. My right side camera recently quit working and reseating the connection fixed the problem.
Good luck!

here are 3 pictures of where the connections are for your side cameras.

Pic #1 is the left turn signal.

Pic # 2 and #3 is the right and is by your coolant tank.

Hope this helps.

This forum is amazing, because of all the things fellow RV's said to look at I found why my camera was not working. I had to open up panel that the radio is in an I found a cable that had unplug out of the camera module. It most have been not plugged in the whole way when it left the factory and finally unplug when I got it home. I feel a whole lot better now. It bothers me when things don't work. Thanks all
